As part of the City of Miami Beach’s recertification program, our team conducted a comprehensive structural assessment of the two-story commercial property at 1671 Alton Road, identifying deficiencies that require corrective action to maintain the building’s long-term integrity and compliance.

Following the investigation, we developed a complete repair program that included a full reroofing system, upgraded roof drainage infrastructure, concrete restoration, and exterior stucco repairs. Detailed construction documents were prepared to guide the work and address the conditions uncovered during the recertification process. We also assisted ownership through the contractor procurement phase, preparing bid documents, soliciting proposals from five qualified contractors, evaluating submissions, and helping select the most suitable construction team.

The project has now advanced into the permitting phase, with construction scheduled to follow approval. Upon commencement of the work, our role will continue through construction administration and oversight, ensuring that repairs are executed in accordance with the design intent and that the property successfully achieves its recertification objectives.
