1. Project Engineer (EI) Position (South Florida)

Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL

Duties

Construction observation and documentation (site visits, including on construction sites)
Building condition assessments (site visits required)
Project specifications preparation
Engineering calculations for building analysis and design
Perform site visits/inspections
Coordination with engineering technicians for drawing preparation
Prepare reports to include: condition survey, observation, field, and summary reports
Client correspondence

Responsibilities:

Timely and accurate completion of all duties above.
Punctual and attentive participation in project-related meetings
Professional representation of the Company while on-site visits and in external project meetings, including appropriate attire and physical appearance.
Active and attentive collaboration with team members on projects.

Qualifications:

Candidates for this position must satisfy the following educational/work experience requirements:

Graduation with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural
Engineering focus from an ABET accredited university.
E.I. designation is preferred but not required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must satisfy a background check.
Prior work experience in the United States.

In addition to the above educational/work experience requirements, candidates should possess the following soft skills:

Be creative and think outside the box.
Be organized.
Be able to analyze data and think critically.
Be able to speak publicly and give presentations comfortably.
Be able to work independently and collaborate with team members efficiently.
