Touchpoint Medical – Mezzanine Analysis

As part of a facility-wide safety initiative, BillerReinhart performed structural assessments of mezzanine areas at two manufacturing facilities following recommendations identified during a recent safety audit. The objective of the project was to establish safe live load and storage load ratings for each mezzanine, helping ensure that the spaces could be used safely while providing facility personnel with clear occupancy and storage limitations.

Our evaluation included a review of available documentation, site visits to observe and measure the existing structural systems, and structural calculations to determine the capacity of the mezzanine floor framing and supporting elements. Based on the findings, load ratings were developed for each mezzanine and provided for posting on -site, giving ownership a practical tool for maintaining safe operations and supporting ongoing workplace safety compliance.
