Project Engineer Position (Tampa)
Location: Tampa
Duties
- Client correspondence
- Building condition assessments (site visits required)
- Project specifications preparation
- Construction observation and documentation (site visits, including on construction sites)
- Engineering calculations for building analysis and design
- Composing the following documents: condition survey, observation, field, and summary reports
- Coordination with engineering technicians for drawing preparation
- Travel within and out of state (periodically) required.
Responsibilities:
- Timely and accurate completion of all duties above.
- Punctual and attentive participation in project-related meetings
- Professional representation of the Company while on-site visits and in external project meetings, including appropriate attire and physical appearance.
- Active and attentive collaboration with team members on projects.
Qualifications:
Candidates for this position must satisfy the following educational/work experience requirements:
- 0 to 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Graduation with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural
- Engineering focus from an ABET accredited university.
- E.I. designation is preferred but not required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must satisfy a background check.
- Prior work experience in the United States.
