Location: Tampa

Duties

  • Client correspondence
  • Building condition assessments (site visits required)
  • Project specifications preparation
  • Construction observation and documentation (site visits, including on construction sites)
  • Engineering calculations for building analysis and design
  • Composing the following documents: condition survey, observation, field, and summary reports
  • Coordination with engineering technicians for drawing preparation
  • Travel within and out of state (periodically) required.

Responsibilities:

  • Timely and accurate completion of all duties above.
  • Punctual and attentive participation in project-related meetings
  • Professional representation of the Company while on-site visits and in external project meetings, including appropriate attire and physical appearance.
  • Active and attentive collaboration with team members on projects.

Qualifications:

Candidates for this position must satisfy the following educational/work experience requirements:

  • 0 to 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Graduation with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural
  • Engineering focus from an ABET accredited university.
  • E.I. designation is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must satisfy a background check.
  • Prior work experience in the United States.

In addition to the above educational/work experience requirements, candidates should possess the following soft skills:

  • Be organized.
  • Be able to analyze data and think critically.
  • Be able to speak publicly and give presentations comfortably.
  • Be able to work independently and collaborate with team members efficiently.
